Medical Malpractice
Ms. Williams has been involved in healthcare since 1977. She earned her Baccalaureate degree in nursing in 1986, her law degree in 1991, a Masters degree in law and public health in 1996 and a Masters in Science degree in emergency planning and preparedness in 2006. Ms. Williams’ past clinical experience is in emergency department nursing and quality management oversight and she is an active member of the Rhode Island Disaster Management Team (D-MAT) as their safety officer. Ms. Williams has authored and published numerous medical articles and books and serves on the editorial board for a major health magazine. She holds adjunct faculty positions at several colleges and universities in New England and remains actively involved in healthcare risk management, emergency planning and response policy making and issue resolution. Ms. Williams is a nationally recognized lecturer on issues of health law, EMS law and disaster litigation and is an experienced trial lawyer.

Ross Annenberg, J.D.
Personal Injury
Melissa did her undergraduate degree work at the University of Michigan. She graduated from Boston College Law School in 1987. She has worked continuously since graduation and began working with Abigail Williams, since the inception of the firm in 1997. Melissa specializes in Workers Compensation claims but also provides supportive work for the firm in the Personal Injury, Nursing Home and Medical Malpractice litigation.
Ross Annenberg, received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 1986 and his J. D. from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1992.
While at Thomas Cooley, Ross wrote articles for the Law Review. Ross was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1992 and is also admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Attorney Annenberg has tried numerous cases to verdict including a win in the Massachusetts Court of Appeals. Ross was recently
seen running the Boston Marathon for Charity.
Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Goucher College with a B.A. in International & Intercultural Studies and received her J.D. from New England School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in May 2009. During law school, Amanda served as an Editor of the New England Law Review and her article, In Search of Accountability: Attributing the Conduct of Private Security Contractors to the United States Under the Doctrine of State Responsibility, was published in the Oregon Review of International Law. In addition, Amanda clerked at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Amanda is admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
